The Godalming Town Show is THE annual event in the town's year, last year held on Saturday 6th June 2009 on the Bury’s field. The show started at midday with a carnival processing through the town, with local groups and businesses providing taking part in the spectacle. The arena acts kept people entertained and the Mayor, Dr Paul Rivers through himself into the spirit, with slots in the stocks and trying out the many stalls
